Anacostia continues to be the most ignored sector of this city. Perhaps because of this, it's architectural history has been spared ravaging and destruction.

As the rest of the city becomes too expensive for many, people are taking a look east of the river where property is cheaper than other parts of town. It will be interesting to see the next chapter in Anacostia's history unfold.
